* I LOVE hot tamales and Mike and Ike's
* I have to eat them in twos....OCD!!! Seriously, I can't eat them one at a time.
* Not only do I have to eat them in twos, but if I am eating Mike & Ike's they have to be the same color. I eat all the odds first so that I can consume the rest in pairs. It is like this for any candy that comes in a variety of colors...Skittles, M&Ms, etc. (I guess I'm like Noah's ark that way...)
* I love to garden and have a secret wish of owning my own nursery.
* I don't like calling people, but I love to talk on the phone.
* Although it is hard to believe--especially for me, I was once very smart. I graduated in the top 1% of my class from (then) Ricks College and was asked to give the commencement address. My intellectual stamina remained high while at Utah State where I also graduated in the top 1% of my class with a degree in History--very useful.
* Since having children, I have NO claim on intelligence or memory so don't assume anything. Dan is now the official "smarty pants" in the family.
* I love to read...but I really love Jane Austen's works and the Anne of Green Gables books. I reread them every year (I think I have read Pride & Prejudice 15 times at least...just don't ask me to recall all the details--see previous comment)
* My favorite place to visit is Williamsburg, VA...I LOVE colonial American and British History...note the cute drummers pictured above. (I have to say this would only be true without children...they don't seem to stay in one place long enough for me to enjoy it.)
* One of my favorite movie series is Horatio Hornblower....love it! (check A&E for the DVDS)
* I love ballet and still dance around the house when no one is looking...Ok, my kids see me sometimes.
* I don't have time for much TV anymore, but I do have one crazy addiction...The Office....my other favorite, I am embarrassed to admit, is "how its made" on the discovery channel. (I know I am a nerd.)
* I was on the women's rowing team for Wharton while Dan and I were in Philly and it was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. We even won our race!
* I love to go shopping--especially with my Mom and Sisters because we are all MARATHON shoppers. I almost shiver when I get a "great" bargain.
* I have been known to watch a NASCAR race now and again. (I try to hide my pinkneck--not quite red--in public)

I have never see Horatio Hornblower! Never even heard about it! I'll have to check it out. Love that you were on the rowing team! That is so cool! We need to get together for some quality chick flick movie night!
